This program is an axample of how to use MSFlexGrid Control and SQL queries on databases. It's a little more than a simple Phone Book. For each entry there are these fields: - Surname - Name - Gender - Society (Eventually owned) - Phone Number - Mobile Phone Number - Fax Number - Address - Zip Code - Web Site - Additional Notes - Several flags Every entry has a set of "flags" you can enable or disable to better identify the entry. Possible flags are: - Relative: the person is a relative of yours - Friend: the person is a friend of yours - Engeneer: this entry has interests on engeneering - Computers: this entry has interests on Computers - Eletronic: this entry has interests on Eletronic - Doctor - Mechanic: this entry has interests on engeneering - Sport: this entry may be a friend you usually call when you want to organize a football match (Now Soccer..in future customizable) - Working With : you have a work relationship with this entry - ......... - ......... Quick Filters: you can display on the FlexGrid all the entries or choose to view only: -Males -Females -Relatives -Friends -Doctors -Teachers ... and so long. Phone call: if the entry has a Phone or Mobile Phone Number you can right click on every cell of the entry row and choose to call that number. Web Site visit: if the entry has an URL in the Web Site field, right clicking (any cell of the entry row) you can visit the Web Site. Remote Access starts and the browser will be opened for that URL. Send E-Mail: to be done Send Fax: to be done (Help file is to be done... but you'll find easy to discover ReLMan functions. | IRC Msg Logger | If you're going to develop an app for IRC you can find useful to be able to log unparsed server messages to quickly understaind the protocol described in RFC. This is a simple client that performs a connection and in the only one window shows all server messages ( and obviously lets you log all to a file on your Hdd). This app is the result of a built in future still present in my IRC Client. |
